1994 In the year 1994 an engineer partnership named IPZK was founded in Karlsruhe (Germany). During their startup IPZK developed parts for safety systems used at cranes. Later IPZK made more complex projects, containing development, optimizing and commissioning for the automotive, nuclear, vacuum and metallurgical technologies. These projects were realized by the IPZK or in cooperation with other companies. These projects dealed with automation or industrial technologies, most time both was involved. 2002 In 2002 production planning and supply chain management became part of IPZK´s field of activity. 2003 In the first quarter of 2003 IPZK became a limited company according to German law, called GmbH. Additional to this an other field of activity was born by IPZK. This field worked with crane-, lifting- and transport systems. The letters in the name APIK are standing for automation, production planning, industrial technologies and crane technologies. |
